Kayman started kindergarten this year. He is so excited about his new school. Kayman never hesitates to talk about his experiences, such as coloring in the lines. Yeah, he is off to a good start!

This little man has no idea that so many people are working hard to ensure that he learns to read. For instance, last week Texas A&M announced a four-year research project to investigate assessments that are currently used to monitor reading development of kindergarten students at risk for reading difficulties. Nathan Clemens, a team member on the project, stated how important it is to provide early intervention for students. For additional information on this research you can go to:
