Charging the Human Battery

thought_1678cOver the past few days, I have been reading passages from a book by Mac Anderson called Charging the Human Battery.  This week I will be sharing some sage advice from both Mac Anderson and Jon Gordon regarding some basic fundamentals on rejuvenation and self-motivation.  Just remember …people are like sticks of dynamite; the power’s on the inside but nothing happens until the fuse gets lit… and for some of us, after a long school year,  we wonder if our powder is still good!

Research shows we all can be more positive in our life outlook  if we feed our minds in a positive way.  Today is day one on this positive 7-day menu; try it you may see a difference.

Day One: Take a Thank You Walk

This is a simple way to begin– take a walk– anywhere but while you are walking think about all the things, big and small, that you are grateful for.  Your brain will be flooded with positive emotions and natural anti-depressants that uplift you.

Please note that if you like the results, this part of the menu can be repeated on a daily basis!

Quote for the day:

“When it comes to life, the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.”
