Did you know that children laugh about 400 times a day while adults laugh only about 25 times a day.  Research shows that smiling produces more serotonin in our brains and laughter reduces stress, increases our immune system and causes our bodies to release “feel good” endorphins.  Today for at least 10 minutes, try to find more humor in your life that will make you laugh and smile today.

 To start you off in your quest, here is an excerpt from Everything I need to Know About Life I learned from Noah’s Ark that may bring a smile and a giggle or two:

  • Don’t miss the boat
  • Remember, we’re all in the same boat.
  • Plan ahead.
  • Stay fit-when you are 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something big!
  • Don’t listen to critics– just get on with the job to make sure you make the deadline.
  • Build your future on high ground.
  • Speed is not always an advantage– the snails were on board with the cheetahs.
  • When you are stressed, float for awhile.
  • Remember the ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic, by professionals.
  • And just one more thing— the woodpecker might have to go!
