Beyond Subprime Learning: Accelerating Progress in Early Education

Early Childhood EducationA policy brief related to the improvement of early childhood education was recently published by The New America Foundation. The report provides eight recommendations for reaching the goal of providing high-quality early childhood education that is aligned from birth through third grade. Each recommendation includes steps that can be taken by the various stakeholders who would be primarily responsible for a particular intervention.
