autismAs part of a grant from Texas Education Agency, Region 13 is offering no cost professional development in Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) used with students having autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This professional development will be offered through the Autism Circuit and Region 13 is seeking 400 educators across the state of Texas to be a part of this unique cohort of educators. Participants taking advantage of this opportunity will earn 60 CEUs in 9 months as well as a $500 stipend to be disbursed in May 2016 if all program requirements are met.

Time period: September 2015 ­ through May 2016

Application deadline: August 10, 2015

Audience: Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers, Campus and District Specialists, Para-Educators, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other interested local education agency (LEA) staff.
