RecessIt seems that bullying is something that is ever-present in the news these days. At what point does bullying-type of behavior start to occur? Child Trends published a research brief this month on the topic of bullying behavior in preschool. The brief summarizes the “developmental trajectory” that leads to bullying behavior and poses theories about what elements play a role in contributing to bullying behavior. Additionally, the brief highlights strategies and evidence-based models to intervene in this behavior and attempt to alleviate the development of aggression in early childhood.
