Have you ever wondered “Am I doing this right? Are the kids we are educating getting the best we have to offer?” Of course you have! We all want to be validated for what we do. We all have that secret desire to know what our colleagues are doing. Do I ever have an opportunity for you!

By request we have been asked to start a Low Incidence/Lifeskills Coordinator’s meeting. 3 have been scheduled for the upcoming year:

January 29, 2015: Topic TBD. Discussion of LID Academy and Summer 2015 Lifeskills Teacher Bootcamp.

April 15, 2015: Topic TBD. Debrief on new STAAR ALT test.

An occupational therapist by background, I have been dabbling in technology since the early days of the Macintosh. I got my dream job in 2003 as the assistive technology consultant at Region 10. I would much rather play with technology than do my real job so this seems to be a good fit for me! I am also the Low Incidence Disabilities consultant.
